“Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth." 2 Timothy 2:15 “I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.” 2 Timothy 3:1-4
Definitions of the terms ‘Marriage’ and ‘Divorce’
With the understanding that a universally accepted definition of marriage is much contested, in this essay the word ‘marriage’ will be used to mean what the Bible says it is, i.e. the union between a man and a woman; and a godly marriage will be taken to mean exclusively the union of a husband and wife joined by God through a solemn covenant.
God’s plan for marriage was perfect. He created a woman that was suitable for Adam (Gen 2). However through the years, man often moved away from God’s plan, even in view of marriage. God’s word states that we shall reap what we sow (Gal 6:7) and through these chapters we will explore how marriage moved away from God’s intended plan and became so different to what is considered pleasing in the eyes of God.
I would like to know your comments about the comments that a certain person called David J.Stewart had given you on his website saying that you are a person who is helping the devil. (Personally I do not agree with him because I don't think that satan would use a person in Christ).

Submission and Authority! “Submission!? Don’t talk to me about submission. I am free in Christ and I’m not going to submit to anyone or even to you! I only submit to God!” How often have I heard people say the above statement? I can even humbly say that I used to be also part of this group for some time in my early Christian walk and even felt ‘proud’ about it. I just had come out of a religious system that had it not been for the abundant grace of God, I may have easily turned out to be a complete rebel and turned against God. I had come out of a religious system that all my life I was expected to always obey my leaders, believe everything that they told me and if I ever made a question of interest and of genuine hunger for God’s truth, I was often met with a reprimand that I even dared question those above me. I was always given the impression that asking such questions put me in a bad light and I was left feeling like I was a bad person. Hmm! |
